Vira Solovey is a Ukrainian film and stage actress. She was born on January 29, 1962, in Kyiv, Ukraine.
In 1985, Solovey graduated from the Kyiv Theater Institute and started her career as an actress at the Ivan Franko National Academic Drama Theatre. She has also performed at many other theaters across Ukraine.
Solovey has appeared in more than 50 films, including "Solozhentsev", "Dovbush", "At the Crossroads", "Crimean Bridge", and "Invisible".
She has won several awards for her acting, including Best Actress at the Ukrainian Film Festival and the Grand Prix at the Vukovar Film Festival.
Solovey is also known for her social and political activism. She was one of the leaders of the Orange Revolution in Ukraine in 2004 and has been an active supporter of human rights and democratic reforms in her country.
